Since this is a work location, most individuals were dressed for work. But, what is interesting about this is --that depending on someones office and type of work--people dress casual, professional and business like.
I observed many people wearing jeans. They ranged from flair bottom to straight leg. The colors of jeans were as varied as the different type and ages of people wearing them. I observed people wearing dress shoes, sneakers, sandals and flip flops along with the jeans. It seems that I observed more women in jeans then men. As far as tops, people had dress shirts, t-shirts , sweaters, and sweatshirts along with the jeans. Some tops were pull over, other button down blouses.
Another prominent type of dress was women wearing skirts-they were about knee length. Black was the dominant color with heals. I observed an older woman in a bright neony-pink pant suit. Very bright colors. I did not get a picture of it.
Men that were dressed in professional attire wore predominately dark colored pants-black. Although, there was a fair number of people that had on tan/beige colored pants on. Shirt colors for men were mostly white. There were a few lavender, blue and tan. Many men were wearing striped ties and patterned ties.
The popular color trends that I observed for both men and women were brown, black, shades of purple.
The popular styles I observed were fitted clothing, tailor looking business attire. Although during this observation, I did not see any--in the past, I have seen people at work native wearing garb clothing from their country-some Indian clothing. I observed that people accentuated their style of clothing with jewelry , earrings and necklaces. Many women wore belts with large buckles in front.
I saw a few people in animal prints.
As an overall conclusion, I think that people dress for comfort. I think that peoples level of comfort are different depending on their job position and what the work they do encompasses. Some people throw on a pair of jeans for comfort. Others only feel comfortable in dress clothes. Clothing is such a personal choice.
